Bordering with the new expanded Europe, our distillation units produce some essential oils and other aromatic products stemming from the plants of this zone, which used to represent 80% of so-called aromatic «Russian» products of the former Soviet Union. BETEN has been cultivating these crops since 1999 on a total of 4000 hectares and has at its disposal different sites for the distillation which enables to process the crops in Ukraine, Moldova and Russia. This positioning provides transparency and traceability in order to offer our clients 100% pure and natural essential oils, certified organic by ECOCERT CEE and NOP.

SALES & LOGISTICS
In order to be closer to its clientele, BETEN holds its commercial activities from its premises in Vitry-sur-Seine, near Paris in France. This set up allows the best reactivity in forwarding samples representative of each production. Our team visits also regularly various industry trade fairs in order to inform in a personal manner all aspects of the production at source.
As for transport, BETEN observes the applicable legislation by designating the labels of the barrels according to the European norms and by the presentation of all documents that may be required by the client, as for example the Material Safety Data Sheet, the Technical Sheet, the Gas Chromatography Analysis, the Certificate of naturality and other required certificates. According to the new operating obligations, BETEN has also provided since July 2008 a preliminary registration in REACH of some essential oils which are produced in Eastern Europe and imported into the European Community.
